Waste

Waste can be deposited in the underground waste containers, which are located outside in the small environmental area next to the car park entrance. The waste containers can only be opened with the 'ZRD-Tag', which is a plastic round disc, which hangs on a key hook in the flat's inner storage room.

Without this ZRD Tag, the containers will not open, so please remember this when you take your waste away. We kindly ask you to hang the Tag back in the apartment on the designated key hook in the inner storage room. The cost of a new Tag is €50, which we will unfortunately have to charge to you if it is lost or damaged.

• The underground containers are emptied regularly. If the intake flap can be opened but the waste does not fit into a container because it is full, please contact the caretaker or call Breskens Apartments

The municipality of Sluis collects household waste separately. The underground waste containers at Pharos apartment complex are for the separate collection of the following types of waste:

• Plastic packaging, metal packaging and beverage cartons (PMD)
• Waste paper and cardboard
• Residual waste

Do not place bags or boxes of rubbish by the containers, this causes litter and nuisance to local residents (think pests).
